STAYC’s Sieun displayed excellent variety show skills together with her father.

On the 25th, STAYC’s Sieun appeared on JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ with her father, Park Nam-jung, for a special Lunar New Year episode.

On this day, Sieun appeared as a transfer student from Bloodline High School and introduced herself by saying, “A pitch-perfect master singer with a honey-like voice, STAYC’s Sieun, daughter of Park Nam-jung.” She added, “The more I look in the mirror, the more I see Park Nam-jung. I look exactly like my dad,” highlighting their striking resemblance.

Park Nam-jung spoke about his daughter’s natural talent, saying, “Whenever there was dancing on TV, Sieun would immediately start copying the moves—she just couldn’t sit still.” He added, “Ever since middle school, she dominated every singing competition at her school.”

In response, Sieun shared her thoughts on having a celebrity father, saying, “When I was younger, it felt like a lot of pressure. But these days, I appreciate it more and more. When I appear on variety shows, even if I’m meeting someone for the first time, they recognize my dad and say, ‘I was a big fan back then!’ which makes interactions much warmer.”

Sieun continued to share various stories about her dad without hesitation. She revealed, “My dad doesn’t get angry, he just gets salty a lot.” During the family talk show segment ‘Knowing Children, The Life’s Greatest Blessing,’ she also shared, “There were times when I was embarrassed by my dad’s sense of fashion,” exposing some of his unique fashion choices, which brought laughter to the show.

Additionally, Sieun teamed up with her father for a joint stage performance. The two showcased perfect chemistry as they performed Park Nam-jung’s songs “Days Passed by the Rain” and “Missing You” before transitioning to STAYC’s “Teddy Bear”and “GPT.” Later, during the family talk show segment, they had more engaging conversations before delivering a touching duet performance of the ‘Aladdin’ OST, ‘A Whole New World.’

Meanwhile, Sieun’s group, STAYC, wrapped up their first world tour ‘TEENFRESH’ last year. They also released their first full-length album ‘Metamorphic’ and the digital single ‘…l (Dot Dot Dot).’ Currently, they are actively working on their upcoming album.
