STAYC’s Isa Makes Her Solo OST Debut! ‘Trace of the Stars’ Released Today (11th)… Her ‘Kitsch Voice’ Adds Extra Fun to the Romance

2025 04 11

For the first time since her debut, STAYC’s Isa participates in an OST.

Isa will release her OST Part.1, ‘Trace of the Stars,’ on the 11th (Friday) at 6 PM KST through various online music platforms for MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Crushology 101’ (directed by Kim Ji-hoon, written by Seong So-eun, Lee Seul, produced by Kakao Entertainment).

With Isa as the first OST artist, ‘Crushology 101’ is based on the Kakao Webtoon of the same name, which has garnered 170 million views. The drama follows Bunny’s search for a boyfriend after her first relationship, which became a painful memory, leading her to unexpectedly get involved with several men.

Isa’s ‘Trace of the Stars’ is a city pop-style track that blends a retro synth bass sound with rhythmic guitar and sleek electric piano (EP) melodies. Over a modern and simple beat, Isa’s kitschy vocals add a cozy charm that feels like walking on clouds.

The release of Isa’s first solo OST since her debut sparks even more curiosity. Her distinctive and textured voice is expected to perfectly capture the romantic story of youth, enhancing the overall listening experience.

Isa, known for her wide vocal range and rich tone perfect for pop songs, has gained much love for her distinctive voice. With ‘Trace of the Stars,’ she showcases her vocal strengths, delivering powerful vocals that are expected to further enhance the drama’s appeal and draw more attention to the storyline.

Meanwhile, Isa’s group STAYC recently released their new single ‘S’ last month, and with their evolved concept and the catchy, funky new track ‘BEBE,’ they have been actively appearing on music shows, as well as various variety programs and content. On the 12th and 13th, they will hold their 2025 STAYC TOUR ‘STAY TUNED’ Seoul concert, where they will meet their fans.
