On the 23rd, STAYC (members Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) released the music video teaser for the title track “Cheeky Icy Thang” from their first full album “Metamorphic” on their official YouTube channel.

The released video, featuring a heart-pounding beat and STAYC’s stunning visuals, elicited an enthusiastic response from global fans. STAYC completed their dazzling visuals with black outfits accented with pink details, surprising everyone with their cool attitude, shedding their kitschy image.

Particularly, they added a touch of fun with a variety of expressions, such as sending a chic, indifferent gaze with their arms crossed or giving a sassy smile while chewing gum. Additionally, with steps reminiscent of a runway, they exited a flickering elevator one by one, disappearing off-screen, delivering an electrifying impact until the very end.

Without revealing any lyrics or performances, STAYC heightened curiosity for the full music video by showcasing the groovy shuffle rhythm and their “all-center” visuals, hinting at the strong addictiveness of “Cheeky Icy Thang.”

“Cheeky Icy Thang” is a song that captures STAYC’s hidden charm, which is cool like ice yet hot and bold. Black Eyed Pilseung (B.E.P), the chief producer of High Up Entertainment, participated in the songwriting and composition, further expanding STAYC’s musical diversity.
