STAYC Unveils Album Preview Featuring Title Track “GPT” and “Meant To Be”

2024 10 28

STAYC (members Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) has released a series of concept photos and an album preview showcasing their versatile charm.

On the 24th and 25th, STAYC revealed the second and third concept photos for their new digital single “…l” on their official social media.

The second concept photo, part of the Reality version, features STAYC in a quirky, seasonal knit styling, highlighting their unique appeal. With pink accents in their outfits that emphasize each member’s individuality while maintaining harmony, STAYC captivates with their deep, mesmerizing gazes.

In the Reset version’s third concept photo, STAYC shines against a background of flowers and trees, exuding a free-spirited, hippie vibe. The contrast between a warm-toned color version, which captures the sunlight’s warmth, and a monochromatic version that adds a static, dreamlike quality, enhances the visual appeal.

On the 26th, the group unveiled a preview of four tracks: the title track “GPT,” the B-side “Meant To Be,” as well as the instrumental and a cappella versions of “GPT.” The title track “GPT” is a song with a funky rhythm and chill synth sounds that carry a French house vibe, expressing earnest emotions toward a significant other through STAYC’s signature playful lyricism.

The album title “…l” represents a message screen showing “typing…” but without a reply, metaphorically capturing the feelings of unrequited love in STAYC’s unique and quirky style. By sharing a relatable story of unrequited love for young listeners in their teens and twenties, STAYC is set to add a distinctive, emotional color to this fall season.

STAYC’s new digital single “…l” will be released on October 30 at 6 PM across various online music platforms.
