The group STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, J) has secured their first music show win after their comeback.

On the 12th, STAYC appeared on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ and won first place with the title track “Cheeky Icy Thang” from their first full-length album ‘Metamorphic’.

In an interview with the MCs before going on stage, STAYC said, “We are very happy to be nominated for first place along with our comeback after 11 months. We are grateful to SWITH who always supports us,” expressing their feelings with a hand heart. They also raised expectations by promising to go on stage with chicken and ice cream, as suggested by the song title “Cheeky Icy Thang,” if they won first place.

Upon winning, STAYC shared, “This would never have been possible without SWITH. We are thankful to our company staff and members who worked hard to prepare for the full-length album.” They then performed a flawless live encore while holding the promised chicken and ice cream, adding a unique spectacle.

STAYC also performed the track “1 Thing” along with the title song “Cheeky Icy Thang” that day. Their performances, showcasing heart-pounding sounds and STAYC’s distinctive confident musical style, captivated both the eyes and ears of the viewers.

‘Metamorphic,’ STAYC’s first full-length album, marks their debut in this format and exemplifies a concept of evolution, highlighting an upgraded visual transformation and refined abilities. The album contains 14 tracks, including the title song “Cheeky Icy Thang,” which showcases the broad musical spectrum of the six members.
