STAYC has successfully concluded the promotions for their first full-length album after 3 years and 8 months since their debut.

The group STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) wrapped up their music broadcast activities for the title track ‘Cheeky Icy Thang’ from their first full-length album ‘Metamorphic’ with their performance at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon: Summer’ on the 21st.

With the performance of ‘Cheeky Icy Thang’, which showcased their evolved charm, STAYC left a strong impact on every stage. They created rich performances with a cool and bold concept, dazzling choreography, and diverse facial expressions. The key choreography that utilized both hands was especially addictive and well-loved.

Notably, on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’, they performed not only ‘Cheeky Icy Thang’ but also their debut song ‘SO BAD’, creating a meaningful stage filled with fans’ sing-alongs and cheers, demonstrating their matured stage presence. They also drew attention with their performance at the ‘2024 SBS Gayo Daejeon: Summer’, marking the culmination of their official promotions.

‘Metamorphic’, true to its name which signifies change, is STAYC’s first full-length album that showcases the evolution of their concept, visual transformation, and upgraded abilities. The title track ‘Cheeky Icy Thang’ captures STAYC’s attitude of being cool like ice but also hot and daring. The song, produced by Black Eyed Pilseung (B.E.P), who are the representative producers of High Up Entertainment, targets listeners’ tastes perfectly.

This album captured global fans’ hearts, making it to the top ranks of the Top Album Debut US and Global Charts (July 5th – July 7th) announced by Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. ‘Cheeky Icy Thang’ also achieved first place on terrestrial music broadcasts, and its music video surpassed 10 million views, continuing to gain popularity.
