STAYC (members: Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) returns to the K-pop scene after three months. Today at 6 PM KST, STAYC will release their new single, titled ‘…l’, on various online music platforms.

The album title ‘…l’ represents the ellipsis that appears when someone is typing but doesn’t send a reply, symbolizing unrequited love and interpreted through STAYC’s unique, kitschy style. This album tells a story of one-sided love that resonates with Generation Z and delivers an autumn mood filled with distinct emotions.

The title track, ‘GPT’, combines a funky rhythm and chill synth sounds with a French house vibe. The song likens an unresponsive person who answers only directly, without showing interest, to a “GPT.” Through witty lyrics, STAYC expresses heartfelt yearning toward someone who remains indifferent.

Ahead of the release, STAYC built anticipation by unveiling the ‘GPT’ music video teaser, which captured the essence of unrequited love with a kitschy and dreamy atmosphere, stirring fans’ excitement. Known for catchy choruses and signature choreographies, STAYC’s upcoming performance is also drawing attention.

The album contains four tracks in total, including the title song ‘GPT’, a heartfelt B-side track, ‘Meant To Be’, as well as instrumental and acapella versions of ‘GPT’. Fans are eagerly anticipating the full release of this love-infused soundtrack by STAYC.

Following this comeback, STAYC will open a pop-up store, ‘ONLY 4 SWITH’, to celebrate their 4th anniversary in November. They’re also preparing a new album slated for release in February next year and will kick off their second world tour in April in Seoul, promising a busy schedule ahead.

Meanwhile, STAYC’s new digital single ‘…l’ will be available on streaming platforms starting at 6 PM KST on the 30th. An hour before the release, at 5 PM, STAYC will host a comeback countdown live to engage with their fans.
