STAYC has made a comeback after three months.

STAYC (members Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, and J) appeared on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on the afternoon of the 1st, where they premiered the stage performance of the title track “GPT” from their new single ‘…l.’

In an interview before their performance, STAYC introduced their new song “GPT” and highlighted key dance moves, such as the “wave heart.” Sieun, along with the Music Bank MCs, demonstrated some signature dance points, building anticipation for the main stage.

That day, STAYC graced the stage in lovely visuals and white outfits. Their return after three months delivered a relatable take on unrequited love, expressed through a kitschy performance and lyrics that drew the audience into the story.

STAYC portrayed the emotion of unrequited love through various heart-shaped dance moves, including forming a large heart above their heads and moving it from right to left, as well as creating diverse heart shapes with their fingers to add a sense of excitement. Their expressive facial expressions and gestures contributed to a unique, emotive atmosphere.

The album title ‘…l’ symbolizes a messaging screen where “typing…” appears, but a reply never comes, representing the feeling of one-sided love in STAYC’s distinctive kitschy style. By telling a story of unrequited love relatable to Gen Z, STAYC sets a new emotional tone for this fall.

The title track “GPT” combines a funky rhythm and chill synth sounds with a French house vibe. It humorously likens a distant, uninterested crush to “GPT,” who only gives stiff, literal answers to repeated questions. The song expresses STAYC’s witty approach to conveying longing and yearning.

Meanwhile, STAYC is set to continue active promotions through various music shows and content.
