The group STAYC proved its global power by winning the World Rookie of the Year award.

STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon and J) attended the “Circle Chart Music Awards 2022” held at KSPO DOME in Seoul Olympic Park on the 18th.

On this day, STAYC won the World Rookie of the Year Award, proving its global presence. For the awards speech STAYC commented, “Thank you to those who like our music, especially ‘SWITH’ (fan club) and to all of our fans who always support and love us. We’ll be the STAYC that work harder than before, so please give us lots of support and love”.

After the award, STAYC’s stage took place. Along with the intro, STAYC performed the title song “BEAUTIFUL MONSTER” of their third single album “WE NEED LOVE” released in July last year. It created an explosive range of emotions with its point choreography “Beaumon Dance,” which features sophisticated lines and hand movements as well as high-quality performances.

STAYC performed the title song ‘RUN2U (Run to You)’ of their album ’YOUNG-LUV.COM’ which was released last year in February and received a lot of support and love. STAYC added their own unique freshness to the energetic performance and colored the stage with their outstanding adorable charm.

STAYC released their diverse charms by performing the title song of their fourth single album, “Teddy Bear.” STAYC presented their own unique “TEENFRESH” charm to the global fans with their ‘Teddy Bear dance’ performance that’s filled with refreshing energy.

STAYC made a comeback in about seven months by releasing their fourth single album ‘Teddy Bear’ on the 14th. ‘Teddy Bear’ is an album that is packed with an upgraded ‘TEENFRESH’ charm and full-fledged STAYC’s own genre and color which has been loved since its release.

In particular, shortly after the release of the album, the title song “Teddy Bear” entered Melon’s TOP 100 which is a major music platform chart in the country. Not only that but also topped the latest Melon chart (within a week), forewarning a long-run. Most of all, it was selected as the cover of “K-Pop ON!” among the representative playlists of Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming site, and the music video that has been released on its official YouTube channel has been receiving enthusiastic responses with 26 million views in three days.

Meanwhile, STAYC will meet their fans through various music broadcasts and contents with “Teddy Bear.”
