STAYC were selected as the K-POP star who shone in 2021.
STAYC (Sumin, Sieun, ISA, Seeun, Yoon, J) won the K-POP Star Award at the 29th Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards held in Cheongdam, Hotel Rivera, Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 15th.
‘The Korea Culture and Entertainment Awards’ is a comprehensive art awards ceremony in Korea that selects artists who have contributed to the development of Korean culture and arts by actively working in various cultural and entertainment fields such as music, TV, drama, movie, musical, and theater every year.
STAYC has made a series of hits since their official debut in November last year, starting with ‘SO BAD’, ‘ASAP’ and followed by another popular release ‘STEREOTYPE’.
In addition, based on the team’s unique ‘Teen Fresh’ charms, they has established themselves as ‘a leading fourth-generation idol group’ by being selected as a model for a variety of brands aimed at the MZ generation, including cosmetics, headphones, and games.
STAYC, who has gained brilliant achievements the year, won five awards at the 2021 Brand Customer Loyalty Awards, the 2021 The Fact Music Awards Next Leader, the 2021 Asian Artist Awards New Wave Award, and the 2021 Melon Music Awards 1theK Original Content Award.
